That's why it's so important to first use audios exclusively when you start learning Dutch or any other second language. Learning Dutch online can advance your Dutch later, once you have properly absorbed the melody of the Dutch language in your brain. Books, Dutch grammar and vocabulary too, need to wait first.
How to learn Dutch:It's highly recommended to first listen and speak only. No reading Dutch, no learning Dutch grammar. Just Dutch conversation. I don't know how they do it, but Pimsleur make learning a language effortless. It's such a pleasure to listen to the tapes and speak with them, and pretty soon you can do it without even thinking. I kept the tapes in my car and listened to each one over and over until I knew it so well it became boring- then I went on to the next tape.
